I think the reverse light switch has failed, but am not sure where its located. I have had a look at the gear stick area and can see a green connector but not sure that is the switch?

Can someone point me at the switches location, and if there is something that I can do to confirm that it is the switch that has failed/needs lowering to get activated?

I have doube checked both bulbs

Hello Welshie,

Milton is right - you will get a better response from Members if you complete your profile. Fillow Umbongo's guide here...

On the T30, the reverse lights are fused by in car fuse 12 down (by the driver's knee)...

Hi

I have a 03 T30 2.2DCI (SVE) Manual.

I will check the fuse, but do you think the parking sensor are on the same fuse?

I read somewhere that they would be on the same circuit as the switch that is activated by the gear level being put into reverse?

Hello Welshie,

Thanks for completing your profile.

It is difficult to say confidently how your reverse sensors are wired/fused as these are often added later. Some installers do fit an isolation switch in the boot if you have a towball.

I believe my reverse sensors (dealer fit) are just wired off the same fuse.

If you remove the rear light fitting you could check continuity at the bulb. Umbongo has posted how to remove the rear light clusters here...

I hope this helps, kind regards, John
