Hi DIY My local dealer in Dunfermline get reconditioned fuel pumps from a company in Glenrothes in Fife. The choice is a Nissan fuel pump with 12 months warranty or your old one reconditioned for around £1000.00 fitted with 12 months warranty. My X-Trail has low fuel pump pressure and I am having pr... |

Hi, My X-Trail 2.2 dci sport makes a grinding noise from the fan when I go around a right hand bend sharply. Sounds daft but that is what it does. :headbang: I have taken the blower motor unit out on 2 occasions and it is a bit fiddly/tight to get out. The motor seems to be encased in the white plas... |

My Turbo gave up the ghost the other day, driving home heard a loud Whooooosh and pop sound. :( Car managed to keep going but was pretty loud. Had a look myself when I got home but could see nothing obvious. Waited till morning and visited local Nissan in Dunfermline and they confirmed turbo failure... |

My 2.2 DCi Sport T30 has a similar problem. When under load and always in 4th gear around 62mph, I get a flat spot. The car will not accelerate at all. If I take my foot off the accelerator and re apply it goes fine. This started to happen a couple of months ago and would happen now and again. I sta... |

Hi Andy I would'nt think that a scored disc would be an MOT failure. As long as the disc is within its spec, ie it is within its minimum thickness and it isn't warped. A badly scored disc usually happens when the pads have been left to get so thin that they are grinding away at the disc, or somethin... |

My steering wheel controls dont illuminate either, 2005 dci sport. Saying that, my headlamp aim and mirror adjustment switches dont either. I think it is Nissan being tight. Most over makes of car with a reasonable spec have them. I find my x trail very dark either side of the central dash, I am in ... |

Bought our first X Trail 05 DCI 136 back in June. Use it mainly for towing a caravan. I must admit I am really impressed with its towing capability. I prefer to take care of my car myself as main dealer price are scandalous. Touch wood I have had no probs so far. Hope to gain some good advice here a... |
