If I remove the SatNav X7 DVD completely, the marks are still on the screen, so it's not the DVD.

I have discovered that sometimes the marks are lighter and sometimes darker.

Thanks for the comments so far.

Sounds good john, unfortunately with the current circumstances I'm trying to save as much £ as possible at the mo so it'll be diy for me. Understood - COVID-19 has affected our industry very badly - so many sound engineers (mostly freelance) have very little work at the moment. But the X-Trail (T30...

I find "Chips Away" excellent. I have had them out a few times to sort out the odd scratch and/or dent. They do an excellent job and prices are extremely reasonable. I even had them sand-blast and refurbish the wheels recently - came back better than new and costy about £75 per wheel. :thu...

My 2009 X-Trail has suddenly displayed a fault on the display. Has been fine since I bought it from new - but suddenly looks like this:- http://www.sound-link.co.uk/images/X-Trail%20dispay%20fault%202020%20500.png ?? Don't know why the image does not display - it's HERE :bigcry: It's like this all t...

Not been here for a while - sorry. The latest X7 discs are definitely the 2013 maps. I would never buy a Nissan again if they stop map updates only 4-years after I bought it. :headbang: The T31 is an excellent vehicle, the T32 is downgraded to a crossover and the Škoda Kodiak is better - although I ...

Good to hear its fixed John and you were able to enjoy good beer with friends while waiting! Commiserations about the cost! My X is a similar age to yours and still running well with nearly 140k on the clock, just a couple of bodywork rust spots that I need to attend to on a sunny Autumn day...or n...

I had this and have now upgraded to the newer one. Smaller and with a panel that charges the batteries from light - so I very rarely have to top-up the batteries and only in the darkest winter months. Excellent device  Warns you of low pressure and can stop you ruining a tyre if it has a slo...

so it did turn out to be an inlet manifold leak/turbo boost pressure issue? I'm guessing the offending hose & clamp was part of the hosing between turbo/intercooler/inlet manifold. Any leaks in that and the turbo will not maintain boost pressure ... hence no power. Seems a rather hefty price to...

Well John. Gratulations... NOT. It is a bother. And above all, cost you an enormous amount of money... Pffff.... almost an amount to buy another car... Good luck. Kind regards Wimbo Yes - though the problem was I was abroad with a fully loaded vehicle, so there was not really much choice. Back home...
