Hi Wimbo Very sorry to hear you're leaving as you've put so much fun and information onto the forum. I'm pleased you have your Suzuki though. - well kitted out cars and you'll love owning it. The black bomb will be missed and so will your humour. Now that you have reached your mature age you will ha...

ditto Eoin's tip James. It will feel as if there must be another bolt holding it somewhere but there isn't. String tip works and I know this is stating the obvious but mind your face when you pull it off. I stuck a loop of duck tape between the lens and the body so that it did't fall on the ground w...

Hello Chris Long time since I've posted but can often be found lurking around the forum! I used WD40 (silicone version) and this got rid of mould from the rubber window seals on my XTrail. Like you, I didn't want to use bleach and the silicone oil did the trick. It's also really good on the door sea...

Hi, I have a similar issue, the only difference is my rear wiper does work but stops in random places... I'll have a look when I get home to see if I can see any damaged wires... where were the wires actually in the door or the ones that go from the top of the door to the main body of the car? Mick...

Thanks for the replies chaps, tried ringing the garage but they haven't had a chance to look yet. Just so I am prepared for the worst, say the engine is beyond redemption and it's not financially viable to repair, should I expect to have to pay the garage to dispose of the vehicle or should I be ex...

The T30 has quite an exposed area below the front bumper [almost 800 x 80mm]... I had issues with the power steering cooling loop two years ago [corrosion caused by possibly a stone resulted in a leak] and I honestly think the air con condenser problems started then - when the bottom of the condens...

Might well be being obvious here so sorry if I am? Xenon dipped beam stays on when switched to full beam as there are 2 bulbs: dipped is xenon and main is halogen. If you've changed the dipped to a halogen there should still be a halogen main beam bulb? Maybe I've read the post incorrectly?
