Hi Kas, Yes I did/do have this problem. I've not noticed it so much this winter as It was most noticeable when below zero but it's been a mild one (so far!). Here was the thread I posted on it https://www.x-trail-uk.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=217&t=61913&hilit=+steering It never became a real iss...

That's bad news - so did they replace the control unit last week (as per your belief at the time) or did they find an excuse not to? Will be interesting to see what they say this time - good news that you caught it though. Complete failures like this don't seem to be very common, from what I see on ...

Always had it down as 60L and have run mine down to the point where it'll take 58L, so not very much at all left. Don't go even into fuel light territory normally but stupidly got caught out that time, must have been about 10-15 miles on the dashes. Your mpg gauge either sounds more true to life tha...

No, it definitely does not, and all I got from customer services was that it would be on the door plate (which it isn't). Then they said ask a dealer (who couldn't advise), totally pathetic in my opinion. If it's to be kept the same at full load (which is a possible conclusion), then it should expli...

Wow..... But: question: What will happen if the brakes fail? Is the E brake a substitute then? That was the point I started off at really - the e-brake is designed to be usable in an emergency and is totally independent of the hydraulics (it seems), but I wondered just how safe it would be ...

Hi All, Resurrecting this old thread because I've not heard of anybody testing out the emergency application of the e-brake in the T32 - well I can report that I now have! It was a controlled test not an emergency; I was considering p/ex on the T32 last week (and would have done it on the day) so th...

Hi, we've had some threads on this but they're not always easy to find as the word is too common. Anyway, quite a few of us have asked at dealers or Customer 'Services' about the lack of info regarding full load pressure at the rear, with almost universal failure to get anything sensible out of them...

Hi Moody, welcome aboard. I see no replies, did you get it sorted? Sorry, no knowledge on T32 fobs but it does sound outrageous. This lot sound like they know what they're doing, can't see any indicative prices though. Probably someone similar up there if you're in Scotland. https://www.carkeyssolut...

Hope this isn't the future for us T32 owners...Remember, leave it in gear! (Which I still haven't managed to remember yet...)

Hang on - isn't this an older model with manual handbrake though?

Caliper repair kit listed here (including piston if required), shouldn't need a new caliper unless bore damaged (wouldn't have thought so at this age). https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/brake-caliper-repair-kit-10733/nissan/x-trail/x-trail-t32/106464-1-6-dci Is it definitely leaking? Might just be...
