mine is a T30 and it's 2006 ..
so i'm pretty sure yours is too.

depending on where your buying the trims from they may not have that engine option there and thats whats throwing them off.

post a pic of your own xtrail and we will quickly tell you which model it is .. ( safe bet its a T30 )

Can't be sure but I'm pretty sure most of those work best on CD's written in WAV format .. If your using NTI media maker or something like it ..burn as an audio disk. I changed mine out for a pioneer ( wasn't expensive )which incorporated CD , radio , USB and bluetooth ... it will play Mp3's too on ...

Noticed on other forums there seems to be a resident expert or experts who can advise, but does not seem to be any here. Any advice is good though, and helps sort out problems. On the contrary ... I think there are quite a few experts here in one thing or another . Most of us have direct experience...

solenoid or crank position sensor still the most probable cause ... ) how can a faulty crank position sensor stop the starter working, ? It wouldn't .... unless theres been some damage ... should be the first sensor with wires leading to it as the air would leave the air box .. be gentle with it ... they are a bit fragile .. only to be considered after checking the battery connections etc ... BTW .. if your jump starting ... connect the earth wire of the jumper cables to your engine , not the battery. you may already know this , but worth saying. Faulty starter solenoid ? possible if it wont jump start ..next time it do...
