I've disconnected the battery on my T31 previously without experiencing any problems, but I must admit to being slightly anxious in doing so. It had been an inconvenient issue on a company car a few years ago - loss of radio code and need to reset preferences etc. If worried you can use a parallel s...

Hi Chris, Silicone lubricants will almost certainly foul electrical contacts if between them. Though you may be lucky and the current burn through. I'd be concerned about a sticky residue which could attract further contaminants. If you have a can try spraying on a test surface, leaving overnight an...

I would suggest that you avoid WD40. It's primarily a water repellent, not a lubricant. I'd suggest a dry lubricant, which WD40 also produce.

For what it's worth the front door catches on my 2007 T31 are marked as Renault.

I would add, if I may, that additional care is necessary when pouring the new oil. This operation must be done very slowly because the duct is narrow and there is a risk of spill. I'd add another caution or two. The M9R training manual reiterates tamango's warning re the narrow filler neck and also...

Just guessing, but looks similar to a problem on my daughters old laptop. On hers the disruption followed a binary pattern, ie repeated at 2, 4, 8, 16 intervals. I pulled it apart and found a "sticky bit". One of the screen address lines was not switching. Proved to be one of those rubberi...

Ok, so a while since I have posted on here as my T31 has been behaving itself but....strange new issue with remote locking. Changed the batteries in both key fobs last week. Drove to Wales from Southampton and all'of a sudden when I push the button on the fob to lock, I get a buzz sound that seems ...

Have used waterless coolant in high performance computers and also aircraft systems. No experience of use in cars. I would assume that you would need to completely replace the coolant with Prep in order to guarantee removing any traces of water. Likewise fill to normal level with waterless once trea...
