For a good price on your oil and filter go to euro car parts I bought oil filter and 2 x 4 ltrs of castrol magnatec 5-30 for just under £50. they sometimes have great offers on but only through the internet. They are in the majority of towns citys but deliver free too.

My x trail runs sweet as anything now and changing the scv valves cured the problem totally. Like you I had no mil light of fault codes showing. I have read somewhere in a forum someone having similar problems to you and they solved it by replacing the scv valves after trying everything else. I cant...

I dont know if you have bought your x trail yet but when you take it for a run put your foot down in 3rd 4th and 5th and see how it accelerates if it is sluggish about the 2500rpm mark and wont accelerate or seems to have a flat spot then the two SCV valves on 2.2Di pre september 2003 or one SCV val...

Everyone to their own but I do mine every 5000 miles. I have do so on all the diesel cars ive owned after some sound advise off a top mechanic. Always use the recommended oil for your engine despite other peoples recommendations as that oils been recommended for a reason. I would never ever advise y...

Hi those are the right SCV valves for your X trail. I have just changed mine today a 2003 Di but had different problems to you. I was getting a mega flat spot on acceleration mainly in 3rd gear and above about 2500 rpm. Just so your aware a good garage will be able to exchange both these valves over...
