Hi

Just got a great deal off e-bay a guy had bought an xt 4 months ago with 19" TSW wheels with 245-45-19 tyres but his girl friend said it made it look to bling. So was looking for a set of 16" x trail wheels and £200 to swap. I offered my 17" Avantures with new tyres on the back and a straight swap and i got them. Went over on Thursday and swapped they look great. will post some pic's at weekend.

Hi,

Id seen that on ebay too. but at the time pic the seller put up didnt look so good.

But WOW. Your pics do real justice. I now see what I missed.

I was also concerned about the width, as I didnt want the wheels sticking out of the arches.
What size tyres are on the 19" Gaz ??

My next set will be 19", once repair work is done.

Hi folks
I put 19" on mine and it has made the steering heavier, ride firmer, has killed the performance and the tyres are £130_ £300 each :bigcry: A bit more road noise too and I wouldn't think its helped the mpgs either?
Only benefits were, looks great and goes around corners better.
All in all I wouldn't have changed them if I knew then what I know now.

Tyres are 245/45/19. Falken

a bit more road noise and steering a bit heavier but other than that it's all good.
