Hi Charmer and welcome. I've had my X Trail for 6 months now and love it. Had a BMW 325i Touring before that and know you'll see the benefit of the X Trail when the roads are wet and covered in ice/snow - my BMW used to skitter around all over the place and tramlined on every rough road.
Happy motoring in your new vehicle - you'll get used to the power drop as you drive these differently - or at least you should if you want to keep it between the hedges!
I used to have a Nissan Elgrand Highway Star before the BMW but we got rid of it as my wife was not a fan of driving it, (So i have done very very slow before) but i found if great
Click it into Drive throw down the arm rest and you were in a lap of luxury..
But anyway i have really enjoyed playing with it today so will hopefully have many more happy day to come
