On May 21st I PtExed my beloved 2.5 petrol 2003 T30 for £1k and bought a 2008 diesel 2.0 dci with 136k. This was from a car dealer in Burton upon trent - not a private purchase. for £2500 + part ex.
On the MOT it had a minor for corrosion on rear subframe and corrosion on front disc (brakes work well). However i have had a few issues in the 10 wks.
Did a oil change on monday and the crash bar (absorber-energy, front bumber) at the front is really corroded and has holes a garage has looked at this and says it need replacing.
The first lot are not to bad but the cost will all add up but i am worried about the corrosion.
So what would you do? Suck it up and pay or would you get the dealer involved? I am a bit hesitant as its about an hours drive from me and i need a car.

- Passenger side door lock buzzes when locking and sometimes will not unlock.
- Aircon seal needs replacing - checked by an local specialist.
- Had a lower arm done for the MOT and they did not do the tracking resulting i will need 2 from tyres now.
