Hi there

Are there any recommended independant Nissan servicing places near to Cambridge(shire). Happy to travel if required, as getting fed up with expensive stealership prices. Marshalls Cambridge is very expensive £300 for M2 service.

You can use any garage that will validate the stamps in the service book - preferably the nearest one to you with the cheapest hourly work rates, so long as it has a good reputation. They can get all service parts from motorfactors, and most Nissan parts as well. Some specialist parts are Nissan only but they can still get them, only uniquely through Marshall Nissan, at their prices unfortunately. Some owners prefer to use Nissan dealers while the car is under guarantee, but the 5 million-ish service items on the checklist are only so they can ask for more money, the most important thing is changing the engine oil and filter as neglecting this causes permanent damage. Most of the service items on that long list are visual inspections.
