Hi all. Have just changed my cabin pollen filter - takes about 10 minutes to do and well worth it as it was "living" with debris including flies, muck - arh, horrible. You need to take out the glove box - really easy job and makes a big difference to the air con. as well as the smell.

Have now attached photos and order ref. number.

Have attached a PDF showing removal of filter.
Take out the glove box by pulling the 2 "handles" inwards (they will pull right out but don't worry they go back in) and then lift out the glovebox. Remove the 6 screws as shown on diagram and ease off the panel.
You'll see a white box on RH side that looks a bit like a DVD player. There are 2 tabs on this so lift them up and the filter will pull out. (There are a few wires around so make sure you don't yank at these too much.)
The new filter has to go in the right way around and comes with 2 self adhesive foam strips that you have to stick to the sides of the filter. The instructions that come with the filter are in Japanese but basicaly, fit the filter with "NISSAN" facing the front and the right way up!
Clip the white cover back on, replace the panel and screws, fit the glove box back in and put the 2 "handles" back in.
Job done. Takes about 10minutes or less.
Vandy.
