I been posting this forum about my x trail not being able to start and I had various different problems when I went looking, I had a problem with the power going to the glow plugs and found that one of the connections going to the Glow Relay was faulty which I fixed and I also change out the glow plugs. I found that this did help for a while but on Christmas day I couldn't start my XTrail. Bit of a bummer...... However after christmas I finally took my XTrail to my local Nissan Garage where they finally told me that the chain for the cam and crank shaft was stretched and not in sink.

What caused this?
Is this a common nissan XTrail problem?
Can anyone tell me what this is going to set me back? :headbang:

I've done some searchs on other xtrail sites and this the only report i've found of it

Not a cheap job though i'd think :sad:
