I'm thinking of getting an x trail soon and have seen one localy I quite like. It's a 56 plate but one thing is troubling me, the console with rev counter speedo etc is in front of the drivers seat. I thought they were in the centre until the current model was released in 07. Can anyone help with whether this is genuine or not.

I just bought a 56 plate 2 weeks ago and mine is in the center.

Mine is the aventura and im pretty sure they didnt move it for the other models...

Went and had a look today and the console is in the centre, must be the angle the photo is taken at.
