Hello .Is it possible to change the coolant without having to lift the xtrail Regards Barry

Depends of your body size. If you have huge overweight then you can not fit your head and hands under the radiator. if you need more clearance then you can put 2in thick wood blocks under front wheels.
I changed my starter motor with out lifting.

There is a drain plug bottom of the radiator adj to the bottom hose , unscrew that (no tools needed) and all the coolant runs out)

There will still be a lot of coolant left in the engine block. There‘s a drain plug on the block but it’s hard to access; mine was really tight and I almost stripped it.
