Ok, finally got around to doing this and it is easy...

Look underneath your seat from the front and you will see two black wires going into a small white connector that is clipped up under the seat.

Pull the connector apart and the car thinks that the seat belt is plugged in...

No more annoying bleeps while your driving off road or on private property :grin:

Don't think so as its only 2 thin wires... obviously breaking the connect tricks the X Trail into thinking the seat belt is connected.

There is a much thicker multi wire connect at the back of the seat.... Which makes sense as the heated seats would be drawing much more current...
