The T31 (New Shape) doesn't have any rubber strips for the inset in the doors to protect from car park 'dings' etc. I have struggled with a couple of dealers who have claimed that Nissan do not market an accessory for this purpose however they do !! Anyone interested can purchase these protective door strips from Nissan - they appear to be not stocked but need to be ordered.

The part number is KE760JG020 and the strips retail at £84.23 inc vat - expensive but better than a paint job and/or new door.

I ordered my new X-trail last night and these strips are clearly mentioned in the accessories booklet - I ordered a set for mine along with the corner protectors - all fitted by the dealer prior to delivery.

Can't wait until next week when I collect it. :mrgreen:

I fitted them myself almost 2 years ago now and had no trouble in getting them via the dealer :grin:
