Hi all, really glad I've found this forum! I have a (new to me) 2014 xtrail and so far I'm loving it. I have one problem though, which at the moment is proving to be a bit of a headache.

Mine has a factory fitted detachable tow bar. Except I am missing the actual detachable bit, the swan neck/shank with the actual ball on. It never came with it, and silly me thought it'd be fairly easy to get a replacement.

I rang a few places and was told that as it was factory fitted, the only place I can get it is from Nissan. Rang Nissan and they didn't seem too sure, as it's technically an add-on made by Thule. Chap said he'd look into it and get back to me, but not heard and that was yesterday.

So, what can I do. All I have to go on is the attached pic which is whats on the actual towbar mount on the Chassis.
