Hi All,

I have a 2003 Nissan xtrail 2.0 petrol with approx 67k miles. I have owned it for just over 6 months. The car had a service before i bought it. Checked the oil about 3 months ago when i noticed a bit of engine rattle and it was below minimum. I topped up with about 2.5 litres. Just checked the oil a couple of days ago and it has virtually no oil again. There are no leaks, and it seems to drive okay. Has anyone else experienced this problem of high oil consumption and offer any advice suggestions.

I would get it checked out as 2.5 litre of oil top up isn't right, there's clearly a problem here.Have you any friends that know a mechanic that can check it out?....................................If you haven't book it in at one of these Bosch service centres I've used them before and you won't get ripped off :thumbs:
