mines just failed its MOT tonight :bigcry: ... O/S/F lower ball joint (new wishbone req. ... just replaced N/S/F wishbone in Jan? :roll: ) ALSO both front springs broke :x ... anyone else had prob's with front springs snapping????? NOT AMUSED!!!!! :x :x :x

Cheers mate ... there's about a million speed humps near where i live am sure there the culprits!!!!! :headbang:

Hi Dave, have you decided what your going to do regarding the springs?.............................only I have info on prices oem parts that I asked about last year that are a lot cheaper than main dealer prices. Let me know and I'll pm the info to you.

Cars all sorted now and Mot'd ... 2x springs and o/s/f lower wishbone fitted for £350 :shock: ... would have fitted them myself but don't have spring compressors anymore! :bigcry:

Cheers mate done for another 12months ... there was an advisory on a rear drop link arm so am going to get two and fit them anyway to be on the safe side! :thumbs:

seems alot needing done why is all that needed is it coroding or just wear? maybe its typical for the age. either way im glad i bought a two year warrenty.. im thinking about waxoiling my xtrail maybe that would slow down some repair bills?

It can't do any damage mate ... I tend to off road mine quite a bit especially when am out shooting etc ... prob doesn't help either lol :whistle:

thats strange, i thought they are designed to go off road. Should i have gone for a make?
