This question is for anyone who has had one fitted, how have they affected your car? Good or bad.

HI Graham,

I fitted one last year, standard panel one not a cai. slightly better response but no huge power jumps, that needs a lot more work. My X is diesel model.
The main good thing from my point of view is that it has a long interval between cleaning, and doesn't need throwing out like the paper ones.

I found the same as Jamie. Worth having and saves on a replacement filter every year. Certainly worth it it you plan on further modifications.

Well you say that, but I'm on my second K+N, why, because my local Nissan dealer threw mine out during a service, well you wouldn't expect a Nissan technician to spot the difference between a yellow paper filter and a red cotton K+N filter would you! They paid for the replacement though!
