Hi every time i change gear let clutch out get a klonking noise sounds as if its coming from engine bay area any clues. Every thing seem to be tight

Think its a drop link as it does it now qhen i blip throttle up down

Doubt it is a drop link or arb bush. They manifest as rattles and knocks on rough roads. I would go with Mark on engine mount or gear box mount or centre prop mount

I had an occasional clonk and it turned out to be a heat shield over the top of the exhaust, about mid way?.... just bent the shield back a bit.
Worth a check.

I had this, also when starting the engine. Thought it may need a new rear engine mount, so got underneath to investigate. Found the rear engine mount wasn't bolted to the sub frame! Both bolts missing - replaced them. No more klonking! Quite where the bolts have gone I've no idea??
