Hi, my name is Steve I own a 2004 x-trail and I have joined the sight because I need to find out how to fit new discs and pads on all four corners. I've got the discs and pads, which just arrived today and I'm quite lucky as a friend of mine owns a garage and is letting me use it along with any tools I will need to do the job. I have looked at buying a Haynes manual to guide me through the process but can't seem to find one. Any suggestions on a where to find a comprehensible step by step guide and the kind of tools I will need to do the job, especially if any specialist tools are needed? Never done any mechanical work on a car before but the prices a garage would charge to do it for me are far more than I want to pay.
