Been reading a few horror stories on the net regarding the cost of parts for x trails, fuel pumps £2000! etc Is this just the usual main dealer rip off prices, can you get them cheeper anywhere else?

Hi Matt, unfortunately yes you do get over charged for parts at main dealers, there was an example only a couple of weeks back when a member from this forum was charge £10 for a side light bulb from a dealership :evil: There are some outside suppliers out there as I've found a few over the years that are way cheaper than dealerships.There is also ebay that have parts too, new parts that have come from dealerships that have closed down and second-hand parts from vehicle dismantlers.
