Started to notice a humming noise coming from the engine/dash area - like a spinning top, between 70 and 80! Has any one had this before?

Next time it happens, turn the heater fan off. If the noise stops, you need a new fan motor as the bearings are worn.

It had a new fan motor 12 months ago, although I did switch it off the other night and the noise was still there.
