Hi All,
I have noticed a large patch of paint has come off the front bumper, on closer inspection the paint is loose and bubbling on other areas of the bumper aswell. Anybody out there experienced anything like this??
As we bought the car second hand perhaps the bumper has been re sprayed at some point and the wrong primer applied.... Any ideas anyone?

Hi Colin,

Got a similar problem here but on the back bumper, which I had to have re-sprayed about 18 months ago, after someone kindly stoved it in on our local Tesco car park. The paint seems OK but I noticed that after all the snow and frost that we had two or three weeks ago, that the lacquer had started to blister. I made the situation worse last weekend when I decided to pressure wash the car, especially the wheel arches and under the bumpers. Me thinks that it looks like a trip back to the spray shop.
