2014 t30 2.2 dci.. (yes we had the t30 in colombia until 2014- diesel emissions less strict). For 8 months (very rare at first) turn key to on position for glow plugs... glow plug light stayed on for long time, turn key to start and it sounded like weak battery... turn over. no start. New battery no change. Try to scan it with scanner. Says no communication or no ecu present when in this state. Get out. Disconnect various things . Mess with glow plug relay... try again, starts immediately. Runs strong and perfect. 8 months ago problem was rare. Becomes more frequent. i add a ground wire kit, gets better, seems fixed. 2 weeks ago problem becomes every day. Alternator output 14.6 when running . Battery 12.6. Pulled ecu took to ecu shop, tested perfect. Change to different ecu, same. Now suspect the IPDM has died. On xtrail where is it located - next to battery or inside interior fuse block? anyone know ?
