Hi folks,am new to site,i own a 55 plate xtrail and need some advice please,I have very limited air flow through fan and air con and was wondering if there is a filter and where its located?thanks

There is a filter (click on the link below) but not sure is this is the problem - it must be pretty blocked up if it is?

Hi Guys,The fan does not speed up,i have checked fuse too.if its not the filter can you tell me what else it can be......thanks for helping.....

Hi Janice

As the fan is coming on but the speed is not increasing then it's not the filter that's the problem (although would still be worth changing this anyway if needed) I thought you meant you were just not getting a good airflow.
Could be a faulty switch but could also be a bad/loose connection. I don't know if Umbongo (one of the members) is on holiday as he's been a bit quiet lately, but he could be your best bet for an answer - he knows pretty much everything there is to know about X Trails.

Not sure if you have the same controls for your fan, etc., but if you do and they are faulty then have a look at the following link - could be cheaper than having your fixed (if that's what they need)
