So whilst changing the rear pads on our xtrail it became apparant that one of the pistons was much hardered to move than the other, probably explains why the pads on that side were finished while the other side still had plenty of life.
Anyway, we have removed the caliper and managed to free up the piston. Question now is can we buy the rubber gromit dust seal that fits to the end of the piston as we ripped the original one, didnt realise there was a metal retaining clip, doh!!
