My X Trail is an old one, 2002, 2.5 litre petrol automatic transmission. The rear windows only go down halfway. This seems to be the case with all X Trails, including new shape, and obviously this is a child-friendly safety feature from Nissan. Has anyone worked out a fix to get them to wind all the way down?

There isn't enough space in the door for the glass to fully go down.

THE WHEEL ARCH CUTS INTO THE DOOR SO THE GLASS WILL NOT GO DOWN ALL THE WAY... THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL WORK IS IF NISSAN HAD PUT A QT.LIGHT IN THE REAR DOOR GLASS.... :biggrin:
