As may be well known, we are Nissan minded and it needs no question what our other (My wife's) car is... (grin) A Nissan Almera Sport. Sport is in Nissans view: Bucket seats with other polstering, leather steering wheel, alloy wheels, chrome covers with the model-name on it on the door-steps, side airbags and all-that-was-black-is-painted-red and that's that. Nix-no-nada extra powerrrrrr or so! With the sun in the exhaust and a bit of wind from behind, it goes 180 km's on tacho. Which means that your in 2 hours all through the Netherlands... Only "bad" thing is: accelleration. Almost 2 days from 0-100! Kidding, but far too slow for a 1.5 ltr.

lol yeah the 'Sport' badge on these cars was a joke :biggrin: In the UK they were at least only with a 1.8 or 2.2Di but then they were only 116hp and 110hp respectively. Certainly no replacement for the 2.0 GTi and features of the previous Almera. The facelift with the newer DCi though goes some way to helping though. 136hp just like the X-Trail but in a car that weighs 1250kg isnt too shabby. Not fast, but a bit of fun .
