Does anyone know if my 2004 x-trail wiring set-up for the stereo will be okay to fit a new type sat nav unit?
It's a Nissan 2din sized satnav / gps from a Micra, but I have been told that the unit is common across many of the newer models.

I'm just a bit unsure aboutt the older x-trail wiring. Going from a cassette player to gps and bluetooth seems like a big leap!!

I have fitted a Nissan Connect unit from a Micra into my T31 Xtrail with no problems as the wiring harness and connectors are compatible.

Not sure about the T30 as I do not have any wiring diagram or workshop manual for this model.

There are 4 connections on the back of the Connect unit plus one for the GPS: -

Main harness connection

Ariel connector

Microphone connector

USB connector

Hope this helps and will try and find a photo of the back of the Connect unit.
