hi to all born in the north east now living in the scottish borders (6 years) do i qualify to be classed as scottish :thumbs:
just bought 2004 xtrail sve 2.2 diesel never ever had a noisy car on cold start up and ive had a few diesels surely this cant be good for the engine it sounds like a bag of spanners, :bigcry: a couple of minutes later and its so quiet pulls like a train any body got any info into why or do they all do that cheers for now john & fiona

As for the noise, I have a 53 reg 2.2 Di and thats the same. :biggrin:
