Hi Mate

Sounds daft but what colour smoke is it?

Black or white?

If it's white it could be your head gasket on the way out,

If it's black it's just unburnt diesel, try changing your glow plugs, after 60k you should really consider it just to keep it fresh :)

Also try changing your oil, don't use cheap oil either make sure it is a quality brand.

Hope this helps and let me know

hi thanks for that its black smoke but since i post this a freind of mine told me that they get a build up of oil in the turbo and need a good thrash to clear it so i did that and it seems to have worked ,has anyone also heard that ?
thanks alan

To be fair it's just generally all diesel's do it, nothing to be worried about but a good thrashing for them is good from time to time ;)
