I am looking at buying a 56 plate aventura 2.2 from a Nissan Dealer in Sunderland.They have said I can't view/test drive because they are replacing the starter and ignition barrel because they have burnt out.Has anyone any experience of this and waht could cause? wiring loom fault?
Any comments on what I should check for on test will be much appreciated.

Hi, i bought my X trail from a Nissan Dealer in Sunderland, on Wessington Way (you know the name)
2 nd hand, 15 miles after picking it up, my front disc brakes went metal to metal! Catalogue of things not done on pre delivery service and specific things not done pre delivery!

4 work shop day attempts to sort out brakes, car came back polished , but not rectified to a suitable standard.
Problem was, i paid cash, if i had paid HP or card, maybe something would have been done properly in the beginning.

I will NEVER enter any of this Companies showrooms again,
