I think my xtrail is stuck in 4WD as the rear tyres are wearing very quickly (down to 3mm form new in 4K). Car hops on slippery corners. 4WD selector switch make no noticeable difference - dash lights goon/off normally. Local dealer says I can rock it out of 4WD if stuck. Any experiences would be appreciated.

Had this on an Isuzu Trooper once.Dealer said it was the micro switch in the front axle(2 W/D was rear axle)told me to drive it in tight circles forward and backwards.Did that and felt it release.Good luck, lets us know if this works.
