Hey all
Some time ago I was driving down a dirt track in the X-Trail, and as I wasnt looking where i was going the passenger side wing mirror hit an overhanging tree branch.
The mirror housing folded in as you would expect, but the actual mirror glass seemed to become detached and was at a strange angle. I carefully manipulated it back into position and all was well. :biggrin:
Yesterday I took the car through a machiene car wash, and the same thing happened, but this time it was a lot more difficult to manipulate the mirror glass back into position, and I was fearful it was about to fall off.
Does anyone know how the mirror glass is held on? Is it clipped/glued etc to the mirror housing? Just want to see if i can make it a bit more secure.
