Hi guys, I’m new to the forum and hoping someone can help.

My xtrail 2.0 diesel t32 has a vibration at idle and was wondering if it’s just what they do as ever car has its quirks.

It’s not bad it’s just has a bit more vibration than what we are use to.

If you bring the revs up it disappears so it’s just at idle, I’ve checked the engine mounts and there’s no movement.

Was thinking maybe flywheel but all gears engage fine and there’s no pedal vibration so I don’t wanna start getting that ripped apart on the off chance it’s that.

Just wondering what other peoples are like?

Milage is 117k

Many thanks , Matt

Can't obviously say good or bad as not sat in your car to see if the same as mine .Obviously first thing in the morning when drawing a bit more current and a cold start it might just not feel as smooth as when fully warmed .What is it like when warm at idle .When was the oil changed last .Suppose I am used to driving older diesel cars and trucks and expect a little more shaking .If a bit worried pop in to see a local mechanic and get their opinion .

Maybe compare with another X-trail...
Mine too has some vibration. Had the vehicle since 2017 and have almost 300k kms on the clock. 165K kms by my self. Maybe I am to used with mine and do not notice it. Also no noticeable bad mount. But really some other vehicles are more refined. I have no will power tho change every engine/transmission mount to see if anything improves. Next move the injector balance and that is another big sum.
