It may be of interest to some, this months Car Mechanics mag has a several page feature on xtrail 2.2 Dci T30 diagnostics.

I had a look at it on the shelf but I presume it is of no relevence to the T31 ? At least I hope that the "weak engine" comment doesn't.

Overall, the piece is positive about the xtrail. What they're pointing out is that you need to use good quality oil, fuel etc and keep regular servicing to avoid problems with the power plants weak areas. Something we are all aware of hopefully.
