I have a couple of these type of apps - Engine Link and Dash Command - but neither can seem to read the data for fuel in the tank. How does Torque do on this matter?

Cheers

I'd be surprise if any of the apps could give a reading on this.

The cars that show this on the dash have a microprocessor to do the calculation. IIRC, there is no input from the tank into the ECU or a data line that an app could use on the T30. You have to check to make sure.

The only input that comes to mind would be the signal sent to the fuel display gauge.

You can set up a profile in Torque, with vehicle information, tank size, engine capacity etc.

You have the option of adding a digital trip computer, from the likes of scan gauge or reveltronics, as per this thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13730

Kind Regards,

Eoin

Mods: I REFUSE to tolerate the admins behaviour. I will never visit the forum again, delete the account.
Just to add a little to this, I bought the "XTRONS ELM327 OBD2 II Car Bluetooth Scanner Android Torque Auto DTCs Scan Tool" and found it was able to reset the MIL light on the wifes K12 Micra using the Torque lite app.

Anyone had any experience with the streetwize obdII wifi reader (swobd3)

Plugged in. Wifi access point shows up on phone and connects fine.

Ip address of obdii device is 192.168.0.10 and port 35000 and set as such in torque and dash command

Torque lite keeps saying "Checking proto:Automatic search" and never changes.

Dashcommand same deal but says failed to open data port or failed to communicate with interface.

I confirmed ip and port are correct using network tools.

****** thing cost £17 from euro car farts.

2005 2.2 dci

Update on streetwize device. Its rubbish. Tried with a laptop "failed to initialize device"

So doesnt work with a 2.2 dci from 2005.

Cant return it cause i had to use vice grips to get the thing unplugged so its all scratched up

I know the "Torque" software is mentioned at the top of this thread but it's a few years old so here's my question:

What hardware and software are people using for their T30 OBD2 on an iPhone? Mine is a 53plate 2.2di (not dci) if that makes a difference.

I've been recommended to go for a wifi adapter and not bluetooth because apparently they're more reliable on an iPhone but no idea exactly which one to get or what software to use.

TIA,
Paul
