Not really sure what one you need for your engine Barry, but I'm sure someone will come along who does. All I know is that some types of antifreeze will mix quite happily, but others won't. As you are replacing it all, what you probably need to do is pick one and stay with the same type.

Doing a little bit of research I looked on Halfords website and according to them you need an O.A.T. type antifreeze. Colour doesn't seem to mean much these days apparently. O.A.T antifreeze lasts much longer before it needs replacing according to what I have just read.

The biggest concern is that if the wrong coolant TYPE is used in your engine then Nissan have a right to refuse any warranty claims if damage occurs from overheating or corrosion of the alloy.
Always use Nissan coolant or check what type it is and use the same.

I quite agree with that, but surely it only applies to new or nearly new cars. My car is 12 years old, and others on here have cars older than that. Surely they are long out of any warranty period, so warranty claims wouldn't be any concern?
