Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone can help..
I own a 2005 Xtrail with the sat nav built into the dash. Recently it seems to have lost the plot altogether. While it lets me install and recall previously saved destinations, it identifies my position as being in a field somewhere, miles from where I actually am, and plans routes from that position! Does anyone have any idea how to remedy this please? Is there is a hard reset capability on this model?
Thanks
Paul

Try pressing the BACK button repeatedly until your correct position is displayed.

You can reset to defaults by pressing SETTING>NAVIGATION>Reset ALL Settings to Default.

Please note also that your car is a T30 model, and you have posted this in T32 section.

hi Colster. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I will try your advice and let you know how I get on. I realised my mistake over the model classification as soon as I posted the query, but thought maybe it wouldn't matter too much...So thank you again.
Cheers
Paul

Hey Paul

I guess on this occasion it doesn't matter where you posted, as I identified your vehicle from your post. This could have been easily overlooked though, and you could have been given inappropriate advise for your model.

Take care

Col

hi Col
Yes, a good point, you're right of course. I'll be more vigilant in the future
