I have the same model and wish to take a live from the back of the same aux ciggy lighter, for my reversing camera. (Obviously I will be using an inline fuse). Thus leaving my supply free for my sat nav.

I am struggling to get the aux power supply apart

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Mike

Hi All

T30 2005 Dci Sport..... In the top glovebox - behind steering wheel - there is a cigarette lighter, I want to use this source but for some reason I have no power going to it... I think I've found it in the manual (PG-POWER-05) but not sure which one it is - 10A 18 or 15A 23 ??

Thanks

I had the same problem & the correct fuse is called power socket & not the cig lighters

To avoid possible confusion, I have added a post to this old thread - to provide further information on which fuse provides power to the power sockets in the drivers side top box and in the rear load area. It is fuse 23 [blue 15amp] located in the "In Car Fuse Box", below the steering wheel on the right.

The Cigarette Lighter is fuse 17 [blue 15amp] located in the "In Car Fuse Box", below the steering wheel on the right.

To avoid any confusion I have marked the correct fuses in the following photograph...

 Background:
I have added this clarification following two days of tracing a "fault" on my power sockets, checking relays, fusible links and fuses and then over again. Only to find when I had earlier returned fuse 23 in the fuse box - I had inadvertently put it in the spare and empty fuse 21 location. :headbang: Easy done if you are a novice and/or an old codger like me. It then occurred to me that maybe the layout in my earlier post was not clear enough. So I have indicated the spare fuse locations, and marked fuse 17 and 23 on the above photograph to avoid any possible confusion.

Kind regards to all, John
