As Umbongo says, any 3 pin (4 pin ones will not work) fan controller should work, they can be changed with the heater in situ but it is very awkward, there are only two screws holding the controller onto the side of the heater, the idea is that the aluminium fin you can see in the photo projects into the airstream going into the heater and keeps the controller cool.

Hey Barry. Changing the resistor pack as advised will restore fan control for you. The items Umbongo linked you to will be be fine, but postage is from EU, costs a fortune and take a while to arrive.

This one on eBay with free postage will be fine.

Working on the basis that the T-spec is very similar to the later Aventura I assume it has climate control air con, if that is the case the fan controller is not just a resistor it is a solid state speed control built into a heat sink which is fitted into the side of the heater air inlet behind the glove box, it is just possible to get it out without removing the heater first but very awkward, whilst you are in that area you can pull the power connector off the fan motor if you want to stop it blowing.
Thank you Jor.Took the glove box out ,and could not see anything like the resistor. Can you please tell me where it is.Yes it does have auto air con.Regards Barry
