Been this afternoon to exchange the old X-Y for a new one, staight out of the box.

Got offered a good deal, in my opinion, to get one of the last 'old' shape ones before the new model comes out a bit later this year.

Unfotunately it was a bit of a foul afternoon weather wise so will post some new pics when the sun comes out!

Graham.

You won't be disappointed, changed my 08 adventura to a new Tekna in January (ex demonstration) less than 3,000 miles when I got it, now over 10,000 miles.
Very pleased with it, it's my third xtrail and have done over 350,000 miles in them. Never had any problems other than a turbo on the 05 2.2
Good luck with yours
Paul

Thanks liftman.

Just having a quick scan through the manuals.

Am I right in thinking that the Audio/Sat Nav Nissan Connect system no longer has a hard disc drive on which to store CD's?

If so, presumably you have to provide your own USB stick with you music on?

Graham.

The sat nav data is on a sd card slotted into the unit on the right.
The Bose sound system is fantastic, sub woofer in the spare wheel, amplifier is mounted under the passenger seat.
There is a usb socket in the centre armrest, I use an old ipod through the usb, all track information is displayed on the screen.
You will find the mpg is better than your last one, mine hasn't dropped below 45 mpg, previously was getting about 40 mpg.

Hi Guys,

Thanks to Umbongo finally deleted my old photos, so check my gallery for some pics of the new truck.

Today got my personal number authorisation back from DVLA. That's progress, istead of going to the local office and getting it done whilst you wait it now takes three weeks min!

Nice wheels! I'm not a nosy guy, but I wonder what did you pay for it in UK? Which model is it? Here we pay 44.500 € these days for a brand new one (Woooops) This is for the less luxery one. The most expensive one cost "only" around 50.000 €...
