Hello - I'm Jerry from Aldershot and have have owned my petrol X-Trail Sport since early 2002 so it's one of the originals (fully loaded ex-demo).
Great car, bit juicy but hasn't let me down but over the years there have been three recalls for a faulty alarm, ignition sensors and fuel tank problems none of which had actually affected me.
I'm now in the market for a new car & thinking of another X-Trail as I needs loads of room for kids, DIY, fishing & ham radio -the latter two interests often requiring 4WD on muddy tracks & for hill topping.
I'm very interested in this forum and comments on the newer X-Trails before taking the plunge with a my purchase.

My understanding is that the new models are better and larger than the originals.

I am very happy with my 59 reg. T31 (except for the windscreen washer running out without warning).
