Hi I bought my first X trail in January, got a 2.5 petrol sport on a 05 plate, 38000 on the clock.... nice. I seem to be getting excessive noise at around 30mph. I`m well used to suvs my wifes last cars have been a Suzuki jimney and a convertable grand vitara with standard m+s tyres with no excessive noise. At first I thought oops diffs or drive shaft problems. I have now rotated the tyres and I think the noise is now coming from the back which would indicate it is the tyres (woopee) and have since read a lot about X Trails and tyre noise. Apart from that realy like my new car and more importantly so do the kids.
