Hello XTrailers,
Been off the site for a while,,, had some grief with the mighty 2 litre petrol T30,,, suspected head gasket problems and these developed into no:2 cylinder misfire,,, put it off for a year or so,,, but hey ho,,, finally bit the bullet and traded her in for a 2 litre dCi T31 Sport,,, very sorry to part with the T30 but had to move on.
All good so far,,, just got to remember its an oilburner when filling up,, one keyfob works and I have put a new battery in the other which is sending a message but is not being received by the vehicle,,, will need advice on pairing it.
Need to change my details on the site also.
Best regards,,,,,joe.

Hi Joe,

How do you rate crusin' about in the 31 compared to the 30?

Shared heritage or sisemic shift?

Here is a fella that rates his 31...

Did the same swap over a year ago, mine is 2011/2012. Autobox.
I have only testdriven the 2007-2010 model. More comfort. Dials are back behind the wheel. The renault engine is smoother than the 2.2dci. Pulls all the way to 4000rpm.

I bet Joe can spoke better because his transfer is more recent.

Hello Xtrailers,
Thanks for welcomes back,, T31 over T30,, more comfortable,, inbuilt satnav,,(NOT BY POSTCODE),, more economical,,( about 40 mpg),,
diesel rattle,, larger boot space,, cr**py load space cover,, instruments in front of driver( less comments from co pilot re speed),,
puddle lights in doors,, reversing camera is handy,, load space drawers are a good idea but perhaps not if the spare wheel is
needed,, it"s not aruba blue, (sorry Markssparks),, bowls along smoothly and will get a shift on when required,, so all good so far,,
still need to get the spare intelligent key paired to it,,
,,,,,,,,,,best regards,,joe,,,

Hi Joe - nice to see you again!

Don't worry about it not being blue, it looks like you've got it in the right colour after all... ;-)

Cheers

As far as I reseached it, it must be paired with a scan tool now. On the older days, the remote keyless entry fob could be paired to the Body Control Module witout any tools. Only the Immo parts needed the Nissan tool.

If the I-key fob does not turn your car on, then defo, you need Nissan to do it.
