Hi Everyone and many thanks to John Willett for making it possible for me to join.

After 18 years being a Saab owner I sold my late 2009 9-3 Aero TTiD estate in mid December and became the 3rd owner of a Black 2011 (11 plate) T31 Facelift Tekna manual 6 speed. Although it has high mileage it appears to have been looked after pretty well apart from the odd things here and there. When I received it the discs and pads had been replaced together with some bushes and track rod ends; took it to get 4 wheel alignment done and found all ok apart from slight pull to the right due to new track rod ends. This sorted the car tracks fine.

On a round trip last week from Norwich to Weston-S - Mare in cruise control at 75 mph I was pleasantly surprised to get mid 40's (not simply from computer but tank full to tank full) and looks like getting at least 600 from full tank. My Saab with 400Nm and 180 hp did do high 50's but much lighter vehicle.

Speaking to Nissan they have told me my car has a recall for ECU software update FOC and at same time they are fitting me new steering wheel controls as left hand set didn't work. I was surprised how cheap part is. Today I had new tyres fitted (other weren't to bad but a mixed bunch so better starting from scratch) Vredestein Quatrac 5 and lo and behold upon leaving the garage it snowed heavy - yes in mid-Norfolk!!!! Didn't get enough to try tyres out though. Normally I am pretty good and my Saab had Nokian WRD4 winter tyres all year round and still had 5mm on them after 18k but though this vehicle to heavy for them so opted for these.

The car is so much different to the Saab so no idea where to begin part from how comfortable it is and how quiet even from cold start so well please and it has the extra room in the back I was looking for.

Same here.
Just an advice. Winter tires during summer is not a good idea. Handling is less than summer tires. But most important is this:
Breaking: extra meters till stop with winter-tires during summer, increases with 25 % (!!!)
A set of winter-tires ánd a set of summer-tires is worth his money.
To be honest: I drive all seasons. Kleber. Doing well.
